IBC Applauds Bipartisan Senate Passage of Infrastructure Deal

Release – Following the Senate passage of the bipartisan infrastructure deal, Iowa Business Council Executive Director Joe Murphy released the following statement:

"We applaud the Senate’s bipartisan action on the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Investments destined for roads, bridges, airports, broadband internet, and other assets will go a long way towards modernizing our infrastructure capabilities and our economy."
 
"This bill represents an extraordinary investment in future growth and opportunity for Iowans and the nation. We now turn our attention to the House of Representatives and urge them to pass the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act as quickly as possible."
